NFL Week 8, College Football Picks
I was a frustrating 3-3 last
week for -$1.20. I haven’t had a winning week in college football in about a
month, yet, I’ve had three straight weeks on the positive side of the ledger in
the NFL. At the end of October, I thought I’d have a better feel, but the
spreads have been tough. I did win big with Baltimore on my own last week – despite
the questionable
ending – but I think I’ve been a little too conservative, especially on the
blog.
Unfortunately, there are a lot
of high spreads in the NFL this week, so I’m still not going big. But I am trying
my first teaser of the season, and I have just one college pick. Here are my
picks:
Penn State -6.5 (-115) at
Wisconsin for $15 to win $13.05
Texans -5 (-110) vs. Colts for $20
to win $18.20
Packers -4 (-109) at Jaguars
for $25 to win $23
Teaser:
Ravens -2.5 at Browns
Lions -5.5 vs. Titans
Chiefs -3.5 at Raiders
at +142 for $25 to win $35.55
I don’t think there’s any secret
with these picks. PSU is looking to finally make the playoffs, and I don’t think
Wisconsin can derail them. I like the Texans to bounce back after a tough loss
to Green Bay. Even on the road, the Packers are just better than Jacksonville. And
the teaser is three teams that should dominate – you just hope to avoid the big
upset.
Of course, if it was that easy
. . . well, you know.
The comments are quiet – your picks are welcome!
