Survivor Guide – Week 3 NFL Survivor Pool Picks

My new e-mail address should be KissofDeath2024@survivorpools.com. I picked the largest favorite in both Week 1 and Week 2 and watched them both lose badly. In the Theszn.com survivor pool with over 10,000 participants, there are roughly 2,600 still alive after two weeks. Cincinnati took out over 40% of the entries in Week 1, and Baltimore choked and eliminated about another 2,700 people – including me. The second chance survivor pool starts Week 5.

There are nine 2-0 teams in the NFL with Minnesota and Pittsburgh being the biggest surprises. New Orleans looking like the team to beat in the NFC is a bit of a surprise as well, but it is early. There are some surprising 0-2 teams as well, including Cincinnati and Baltimore. Teams that go 0-3 are almost statistically dead for the playoffs.

My top pick for this week for a survivor pool is Cleveland (-6.5) at home against the Giants. My alternates, in order, are Las Vegas (-6) at home against Carolina, followed by Tampa Bay (-6.5) at home versus Denver.
