How do you get excited about this Sixers team? It
’s ridiculous. Joel Embiid couldn
’t even make it to opening night. Neither could Paul George, their biggest off-season acquisition. Once again, we
’re told to wait. Be patient. It
’ll be worth it in the end. Really? It hasn
’t been yet. I may have already said this, but it
’s as if the Sixers have to be good enough to win a championship
without Embiid
– which is almost impossible given his salary cap hit
– and just
hope he
’s able to play in the playoffs. Embiid is the best big man I
’ve ever seen play, but he
’s completely unreliable as far as being available to play. You
’ll never get value trading him, but I don
’t see how you can ever get excited about this team winning a title relying on Embiid.
