Commenting

Reader comments are always welcomed on Ink posts. I enjoy going back and forth with other sports fans. (Find my “cya” Rules and Guidelines for Commenting below.)

I started using Disqus for commenting on posts due to problems I was having with a guy basically writing his own blog in the comments section. The only option to moderate comments within Blogger, the system used to publish this blog, was to make commenters register with Blogger/Google. I thought Disqus’ option to use Facebook and other social networking sites to sign-in would be a better one for readers.

This is how I comment back to readers when possible, and I have had no problem with spam or any other type of privacy concerns. I want to stress that commenting through Disqus is by far the best way to be a part of the Ink to share your thoughts with everyone reading the blog.

However, if you are concerned about registering with Disqus, there are other ways to comment.

Facebook followers of Ink can post a message on the blog’s page on that network.

Twitter followers can leave their feedback @robqblogs.

Readers can also e-mail me directly via the link on my Blogger profile. The only reason a direct e-mail link is not provided here is because publishing such a link seems to increase the amount of spam I receive. I guarantee that the e-mail posted on the profile comes directly to me, and I read messages to that address as quickly as my personal e-mail.

Please let me know if you have any difficulty with these systems.

Thank you.
